Windows 7 RC May Release on April 10, 2009
There are now all kind of rumors and speculations on when the next update after Windows 7 Beta will be officially released. Microsoft has made know that the update will be Windows 7 RC (Release Candidate) version. So far, there is only leaked Windows 7 Build 7022 comes after the official release of Windows 7 Beta Build 7000 been released in early January.
Windows 7 RC1 has been previously speculated to be released on April 2009. After the false news that claimed Windows 7 RC 1 may be available as early as February 2009 in the form of build 7048, Neowin.net has reported that Windows 7 RC has set its official release date to April 10, 2009.
This is the first time that a specific date been floated as the possible release date for Windows 7 RC build. It’s expected that the release date to stay if there are no significant problems or bugs been discovered on Windows 7 code over the next few weeks. The Windows 7 RC will be made available broadly to general public all over the world. However, selected testers may get a hand on the RC build or close-to-RC build prior to the general release.
